Job Description (s)
Bilingual (English and Spanish) Trainer
Full-time (35 hours weekly), $23,000 yearly
The Bilingual Trainer (BT) responsibilities include management of professional and parent trainings; conduct trainings and presentations, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for training and outreach purposes; Maintain current with trends related to Special Education; coordinate the collection, development of training materials, curricula for the project, including revision and development of new workshops and materials. Disseminate project training information, including exhibits and website. Participate in evaluation activities. Develop and maintain relationships with agencies, organizations, schools, and groups serving culturally diverse communities and children with disabilities including to coordinate co-sponsorship of training activities. Assist in collecting and coordinating data on computer and maintaining database. Attend staff meetings and education-related conferences and trainings.
Resource Development Personnel
Part-time (20 hours weekly), $20-23 hour
The Resource Development’s (RD) position is part-time. The RD works closely and reports directly to the Executive Director (ED). Some of the responsibilities include: conducting funding and data research, contract and proposal writing, contract and project reporting, maintain internal submission schedule, network with potential funders, evaluate and analyze internal data and trends, maintain up to date external data and trends, and networks with external stakeholders. The RD also attends meetings and/or conferences both National and Local, as appropriate.
